
Ashley Thayer received a B.F.A. from The School of Visual Arts and an M.F.A. from Columbia University in New York, NY. She holds work in several art collections including the Saatchi Gallery in London, the Chicago Art Institute, and The Museum of the City of New York. Her work has been exhibited inthe U.S., England, and Japan. She has been an adjunct professor of photography at The School of Art and Art Professions at New York University, Columbia University, and The New York Institute of Photography.
She has photographed construction in and around New York City for the past five years.
